Assessment of the Psychosocial Needs of Primary School-aged Students in Liberia – Luminos Fund - 2020

ADARA-RMC conducted the need assessment that included primary school students, both in-school and out-of-school children (aged 8-12 years) of
Luminos out-of-school students, the government in-school students across three counties (Montserrado, Bomi, and Grand Cape Mount). Three levels
of data were collected, students, parents, and teachers. The study was intended to understand the psychosocial support and broader well-being needs of
children in Liberia in the context of COVID-19, fill a critical gap in knowledge regarding the psychosocial support needs of primary school-aged students in Liberia,
and support the Ministry of Education and development partners to tailor the education response during and beyond the COVID-19 crisis in terms of psychosocial support and needs.
