ESSA Proejct

The Education System Strengthening Activity (ESSA) is a five-year initiative funded by USAID aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the education system at both county and district levels in Liberia.

Government-to-Government (G2G) Project

The Government-to-Government project is a Health data verification project that focus on verifying health data from the eight counties implementing the FARA project

Social Emotional Learning and Teacher Wellbeing Study Liberia – USAID/Ministry of Education Liberia - 2022.

ADARA-RMC carried out a detailed two-year study that focused on the social emotional learning of students and the wellbeing of teachers in Liberia. This research included the execution of three distinct studies, one of which was an ecosystem diagnostic that assessed the education system, the domain-specific system, and the evidence ecosystem.

Governance and Leadership Public Perception Survey on the Quality of Government Performance across key sectors - The Cassell Foundation-2020

ADARA-RMC led the Public Perception, and Quality of Service Sectorial study, an in-depth analysis of the three branches of Government and Governance - the way in which services and public goods are allocated and delivered and the quality of interaction between public, economic and social actors in society was conducted.

USAID/JSI Project

ADARA-RMC implemented the USAID Advancing Nutrition study in Liberia, USAID flagship multi-sectoral nutrition project, led by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), an international non-profit public health consulting firm, and implemented by ADARA-RMC in Liberia. The project undertook food system activities that improve the access, availability and affordability of safe and nutritious foods.

Luminus Found Project

ADARA-RMC conducted the need assessment that included primary school students, both in-school and out-of-school children (aged 8-12 years) of Luminos out-of-school students, the government in-school students across three counties (Montserrado, Bomi, and Grand Cape Mount). Three levels of data were collected, students, parents, and teachers.

Liberian Red Cross Society Project

The evaluation focused on the project and its implementation as well as the results achieved. The main purpose of the evaluation was to evaluate the relevance, appropriateness, coverage, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of the Building a Sustainable Liberian National Red Cross Society for Community Resilience Initiative and to capture learning, i.e., to identify key lessons (positive and negative) and recommendations to improve programming and inform strategic policy and planning.

Concern Worldwide Qualitative Data Collection and Report Writing Training

ADARA-RMC led a capacity gap assessment of key program and M&E staff to identify capacity gaps in qualitative data collection and reporting. ADARA-RMC led the design of two training programmes, one focused on the MEAL team with more advanced training, and the other focused on other field staff with a focus on qualitative data collection techniques

COVID-19 Secondary Impact Assessment on Major Sectors – Mercy Corps Liberia -2021.

Mercy Corps, with support from ADARA-RMC, conducted a secondary impact study of COVID-19 across four counties (Montserrado, Nimba, Margibi, and Grand Bassa) in Liberia to understand the impact of COVID-19 beyond the health sector. The study targeted findings in food security, water security, governance, peacebuilding and social cohesion, economic impact, and education.

Baseline Survey: Supporting Effective Advocacy in Liberia Program (SEAL) – Mercy Corps Liberia - 2020.

TADARA-RMC led the baseline study for the SEAL project to set the benchmark at the initial point and build an evidence base for measuring changes throughout the project implementation period. The study helped Mercy Corp, and partners establish the baseline values for specific indicators of the project

Civil Society Roadmap Beyond – Mercy Corps Liberia - 2021

ADARA-RMC with funding from Mercy Corps led the development of the European Union civil society roadmap beyond 2020. As part of the Supporting Effective Advocacy in Liberia Program and in coordination with the EU, ADARA-RMC led the revision of the EU Roadmap for Engagement with Civil Society in Liberia beyond 2020.

Baseline Survey on the Implementation of UNSCR on Women in Peace and Security through Strengthening Accountability Frameworks, Innovative Financing and Gender Responsive Budgeting (WPS) Project – UN Women Liberia – 2021.

ADARA-RMC implemented the study establish baseline for Advancing the Implementation of UNSCR on Women Peace and Security through Strengthening Accountability Frameworks, Innovative Financing, and Gender Responsive Budgeting project. The study confirmed the outcome and output indicators in the project and provided a knowledge base to better tailor and implement the envisaged project activities
